Carl Jung was an exponent of the Mother as an arche-type and Islam tells us that “Heaven lies under the feet of thy Mother”. This workshop explores the relationship to the Mother within, our birth Mother and ultimately the link to the ‘Universe’ Mother, that abundant, nurturing aspect of the universe which is manifested in the physical Mother.

This day is an opportunity to heal our own bonds to Mother, to look at what happens when that bond breaks, how to work effectively with a positive bond and ultimately to strengthen our link to the universe.

We will be using Tarot as a guide. No experience is necessary and this workshop is not gender specific.

The Tarot

There are 70 tarot cards in all. 20 Trumps and 50 pip or number cards.

The 20 trump cards are known as the major arcana and the pips are the minor arcana.

The history of Tarot Cards is indeterminable but records show that the cards would have been in Europe by the early 12th century.

Over the years Tarot has been developed as tool and a guide for personal transformation, as well, as a system for divination. In a consultation, with Tarot, we can look at what influences and trends, in past, present and future tense are operating in our lives.

By using Tarot as a guide we can an indication of which life choices are appropriate for us to make & we can bring clarity to issues such as relationships, work, travel etc...

Tarot can give us an insightful overview or by asking specific questions we can receive confirmation.
