Refunds & Payments Policy

When making any purchase for any service at the LCS:
  <  Three working days notice from initial payment: Full refund
 When making any payment to LCS, there is a three working day period in which students and clients can cancel their service and receive a full refund. However, the exception to this is if the service is cancelled after the cancellation notice periods below:

Consultations:
  >  48 hours before consultation: 25% cancellation fee of course
More than 48 hours (two working days) notice is given to LCS: 25% cancellation fee
  <  48 hours: 100% cancellation fee
Less than 48 hours (two working days) notice is given to LCS: 100% cancellation fee (full payment forfeited)

Workshops:
  >  1 week (seven days) before workshop event: 25% cancellation fee of workshop
More than 1 week (seven days) notice is given to LCS: 25% cancellation fee
  <  1 week - 100% cancellation fee of workshop
Less than 1 week (seven working days) notice is given to LCS: 100% cancellation fee (full payment forfeited)

Courses:
   >  3 weeks prior to start date of course: 25% cancellation fee of course
More than three weeks (twenty one days) notice is given: 25% cancellation fee
  <  3 weeks prior to start date: 100% cancellation fee
Under three weeks notice given: 100% cancellation fee of course (full payment forfeited)

Lectures
   >  3 weeks prior to start date of course: 25% cancellation fee of course
More than three weeks (twenty one days) notice is given: 25% cancellation fee
  <  3 weeks prior to start date: 100% cancellation fee
Under three weeks notice given: 100% cancellation fee of course (full payment forfeited)

Exception to all rules: If your place is taken by another before the consultation, course, workshop begins, then you will receive a full refund, less a 10% administration fee.
Please contact college after the course, workshop has begun to see if your place has been taken.

For those who have booked a block of consultations with a tutor, the same principle as courses applies - where the block of consultations is treated as payment for one service. Therefore, to cancel one would mean to cancel all and would have to be done so using the same cancellation policy outlined above.

What are administration costs? These are costs incurred to the college following a loss of a seat that could have gone to another. Costs include time, advertising, revenue, financial accounts amendments and administrative duties.

Courses, Workshops & Consultations

You agree that you are 18 years of age or older to purchase and attend for courses, workshops & consultations at the London College of Spirituality (LCS). The only exception to this is for children day workshops and courses, in which case an adult will still be required to be involved in the payments process.

Your Responsibility
You take full responsibility for partaking in any course, workshop or event at the London College of Spirituality. This relates to understanding the nature of the work that is provided by this college and recognising that nothing is given or presented as fact. Instead, all knowledge offered by and through the college are an opportunity for the individual to discern themselves and choose whether to agree with or not. This college works with the principle that each individual has sovereign power over their own reality. As such, each person is responsible for what they choose to take on or take part in. The college at no time, issues statements of fact or certainty when it comes to the information presented. All information is given freely as guidance by tutors and speakers in an effort to evolve knowledge through the sharing of ideas. This allow both tutor, speaker and audience participation to evolve knowledge together.

You recognise that workshops and events by and through the college provide participants with various skills and knowledge that relate to the topic provided. At no time do we claim to guarantee any specific results. Information given may offer alternative philosophies, however, these suggestions are not meant to replace, diagnose or treat any condition you may have, but rather to provide you with additional information for purely intellectual purposes. If you have medical, legal or psychological concerns, you are urged to contact a relevant Professional.

You agree that you will not participate in this service with any medical condition, including mental, emotional, or physical, if such a condition poses a direct threat to the health or safety of yourself or others, and agree you will use our service in accordance with all applicable public health requirements. You agree that the courses, workshops and consultations are designed to uncover emotional, mental, spiritual burdens and that any of the sessions at LCS may prove to be emotionally and mentally difficult at times. We reserve the right, however, to make the final determination in this regard. You acknowledge that you realize that LCS and related psychic phenomena and experimentation are not an exact science and we have made no representation of this.

Anyone taking part in a course, workshop, consultation or distance learning faculty is entering a unique personal journey of investigation and discovery. All participants, clients and those who attend any LCS session or event should take personal responsibility for themselves and attendance at courses, workshops and consultations are at the individual’s own risk without liability on the part of LCS.

You agree that if you engage or make any decisions based on the information provided in this service, you do so at your own risk. This includes, but is not limited to, lifestyle suggestions, dietary suggestions, your participation in any process, consultation, activity, or instruction now or in the future made available. You agree on behalf of yourself (and your personal representatives, heirs, administrators, agents, and assigns) to release and discharge us (and our affiliates, contractors, employees, agents, representatives, successors, and assigns) from any and all claims or causes of action arising out of our negligence. The Waiver and Release of liability includes, but is not limited to, physical, mental, emotional injuries which may occur as a result of (a) your participation in this service, (b) our negligent instruction or supervision.

Please note that despite radical advances in quantum science and other related fields, currently the traditional scientific community have not "proved" the majority of spiritual work, much of which is covered by this college and this website. Therefore we do not claim any of this to be a science.

Medical Disclaimer

Please inform your tutor of any medical condition and any prescription drugs or medication taken regularly. No person using any recreational drugs on a regular basis can be considered for courses. This includes abuse of alcohol. LCS reserves the right to ask a student to leave a class at its discretion and change the tutor of a course when necessary.

Your Ethical Responsibilities
You agree to use any information that you acquire through this service in a positive, beneficial, ethical, and legal manner. You agree to accept full responsibility for any wrong doing inflicted upon yourself or anyone else that results from your misuse of information acquired through the participation in this service.

Exclusive Agreement
This agreement constitutes the entire and exclusive agreement between the parties and cancels and supersedes all prior promises, representations, understandings and/or agreements relating to this purchase.

Changes
LCS reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time in our discretion by posting the amended terms on our website. The college reserves the right to change our prices, arrangements, and structure of our services at any time. You agree that any use or continued use of our website or service after an amendment shall signify your acceptance of such a change.
