What is Reiki?
Rei-ki, meaning Universal Life Force
Energy, is a centuries-old healing
practice and is becoming more popular
today. It is recognised by the
British
Complementary Medical Association
and the National Health Service already
employs a Reiki Master in London.
The word Reiki is made of two Japanese
words - Rei which means "God'
s Wisdom or
the Higher Power" and Ki which is "life
force energy". So Reiki is actually
"spiritually guided life force energy."

what is the wellbeing
centre?
LCS is honoured to be working alongside St. Mungo's, the
London Borough of Chelsea and the Primary Care Trust with their joint
creation of Chelsea's Wellbeing Centre.

This centre is the first of its kind to provide
complementary healthcare as a viable therapy to those who are socially,
mentally, emotionally and/or financially less well off.
"The aim of the programme is not just to improve the
physical appearance of traditional hostels and day centres but to "create
places of change" using new methods of engagement in a welcoming
non-institutional environment.
The wellbeing centre will act as a "hub" to engage
with vulnerable people generically. it has an overall objective to increase
stability, maintaining independence and quality of life, and improving life
chances through access to adult social care and voluntary sector
interventions of various kinds."

What is the Reiki Share Group?
The Reiki Share group is for new and experienced
practitioners to meet together, share their experiences and above all else -
practice on one another!
The share group also means those who have been attuned
can receive group healing by many practitioners at once - a wonderful
experience.
LCS' Reiki Share group is run by Sarah Leboff, an
Angelic Reiki practitioner.
